Memory Lane

My niece and nephew.

I recall the first time I went to Hacker Middle School, I wore a pokemon outfit because at the time it was popular. I participated in this competition in the Gymnasium and much to my surprise, I won. I was a momentary shocked, didn't know what was going on, but I was handed a tidy little gift basket.

Hours later we had to go, and I remember my older brother being jealous because I had won and because of that, I thought I ought to share with him, so we could both experience the thrill. I'm eighteen years old now, and I still remember it as if it were yesterday. It saddens me that I'm not able to attend this year's Super Safe Halloween at Hacker Middle School.

Nevertheless, I would like to wish everyone a happy Halloween and remember to have fun. However, be smart about it.

It's amazing knowing that you have a niece and nephew who can still enjoy the same things I did when it was Halloween. I wouldn't be surprised if my nephew won the competition.
