'James and the Giant Peach' debuts Thursday

Encore Co. cast members rehearse for their performance this week of the children's classic.

Mountain Home High School's Encore Company will present the children's classic "James and the Giant Peach" as its first production of the season.

The show begins at 7 p.m. and runs from Oct. 28--30 in the MHHS gym. Tickets, $3 for students and $5 for adults, will be sold at the door.

The novel, written by Roald Dahl, who also authored "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," has been adapted to the stage by Richard R. George.
