Union Pacific gives $4,000 to seniors, city

The city of Mountain Home and the local senior center received $4,000 from Union Pacific Railroad in recent weeks following a pair of contributions from the rail corporation.

In late June, the railroad presented the Mountain Home Senior Center with a $2,500 check to benefit its Meals on Wheels program. A letter accompanying the check applauded the center's continuing support to the Mountain Home community.
