Porn was sold at flea market

Friday, June 11, 2010

Dear editor:

Like many others, I enjoy the weekly farmer's market/yard sale at Railroad Park.

This past week when I visited I was disappointed to find a man there selling pornographic magazines. After telling him that he should remove such items from the public square, where families regularly come, he informed me that the police had already come and cleared him for selling these items.

I do not know the legality of this particular man's actions. Legal or not, my family and I will not be spending any money at the weekly market as long as pornography is on display and permitted to be sold.
