More than a thousand motorcyclists are expected to roll through the Mountain Home area on Sunday to help raise money for military members and wounded veterans.

Idaho Rolling Thunder, a military charity ride, seeks to raise more than $30,000, said Bruce Wong, a spokesperson for the charity group.

Proceeds raised during the inaugural motorcycle event will benefit The Wounded Warrior Project, Idaho National Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund as well as Operation Warmheart at Mountain Home Air Force Base.
