Students explore health careers

Friday, May 21, 2010
Hacker Middle School students took part in a health career orientation program this month.

After school, during four Thursdays in May, a dozen Hacker sixth-grade students signed up to explore their options for health care careers.

The Mountain Home School District, Elmore Medical Center, the Mountain Home Public Library, the Elmore County 4-H, John Goodrich, DDS, and his staff, and Nathan Price, OD, were just a few of the community partners working together to offer the "Orientation to Health Care Careers" series for the students.

The series is sponsored by the Idaho Area Health Education Center and co-sponsored by the state Office of Rural Health.
