Golfers finishes 2nd

The Mountain Home Tigers finished second behind Middleton at a conference golf tournament at Purple Sage Golf Course last Monday in Caldwell.

The Vikings won the event, shooting a 162 team total. Mountain Home was a distant second at 192. Emmett came in with a 201 total and Kuna shot a 212.

Brent Sexauer shot a 45 to lead Mountain Home and finish seventh overall. Zach Pomerantz shot a 47, Clint Butori 49, and Stephen Elliott came in with a 51. The girls competition was halted because of the weather. They were not able to complete the nine holes.

The Tigers came in second in the boys JV tourney at Fairview Golf Course in Caldwell. The Tiger JV shot a 185, three shots behind Middleton. Doug Zielnicki shot a 41 to take medalist honors at the event.

The Tigers went to Falcon Crest on Monday for the district tournament.
