Pedroza pleads guilty to drug possession, trafficking

A Tipanuk man pled guilty to felony drug trafficking and possession charges during a hearing Monday morning in Fourth District Court.

As part of a written plea agreement, Albino G. Pedroza faces a minimum of three years in prison along with a $10,000 fine and orders to pay additional restitution.

Initially facing four felony charges, Pedroza entered a guilty plea to one count of trafficking marijuana and a separate charge of possessing and planning to distribute methamphetamine. As part of this agreement, the prosecution would drop two felony charges of delivering controlled substances.
