Emergency Preparedness Fair draws good crowds

The hospital showed off its disaster emergency tent last Saturday's Emergency Preparedness Fair.

Community Emergency Preparedness Fair, held Saturday at the Mormon Stake Center, was a "huge success" according to organizer JoAnn Henrick.

"I think people were surprised at how big it was," she said.

The fair was designed to help answer people's questions on how to prepare for natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and major storms and how to cope with an extended power or water outage, as well as providing basic safety information.
