Car show and swap meet set

The Armstrong Boys will host a car show and swap meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 11, in Carl Miller Park.

Proceeds benefit the Hello Dollies, the Mountain Home chapter of the national Red Hat Society.

Vehicles in the show include those built before or during 1985. People may also showcase vintage motorcycles during the event.

Organizers plan to award trophies, plaques and prizes to the top entries with raffles and other contests held during the show.

Registration is $15 for the first car and $5 to register a second vehicle. The swap meet fee is an additional $20, and must feature vehicle-related items. People must provide proof of ownership and have automobile liability coverage when registering.

No animals or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the park during the event.
