Easter egg hunters hop to it

The older group of egg hunters swarmed into Carl Miller Park, cleaning out the park of eggs in under two minutes.

More than 300 children took part in the annual community Easter Egg hunt in Carl Miller Park on Sunday.

Despite cold temperatures and a brisk wind, the children patiently waited for the whistle to blow, sending them into the park to collect more than 120 dozen eggs that were boiled and colored in the days leading up to the event by members of Sabre Lodge No. 7, which sponsors the hunt each year.
