Golfers tie at Nampa

The Mountain Home Tigers boys golf team tied Columbia for first at a conference tournament at Hunter's Point Golf Course in Nampa last Monday.

Both the Tigers and Columbia ended with 182 team scores.

Doug Zielnicki led Mountain Home with a 43. Zach Pomerantz carded a 44, Clint Butori 45 and Brent Sexauer 50.

In a conference girls tourney at Centennial Golf Course in Nampa last Monday, the Tiger girls came in second. Skyview won the tourney with a 198 total. Mountain Home was second with 229, two shots ahead of Columbia's 231. Nampa shot a 232 and Kuna came in at 257.

Kelsey Egusquiza led the Mountain Home girls, shooting a 54 to finish seventh. Alicen Wendall and Shelby Stevens both shot a 57, Melanie Bates came in with a 61 and Anna Bailey carded a 63.
