Nearly 90 people filled the Elk's Lodge banquet hall to celebrate the accomplishments and legacies of female pioneers during the 10th Annual Women's History Banquet on Saturday.

Hosted by the Idaho Humanities Council and Mountain Home Historical Society, the evening focused on "writing women back into history," according to banquet organizers.

"This is an event we look forward to every year; a chance to reflect on women that are sometimes forgotten or overlooked in the pages of history," said Mayor Tom Rist.
