Math Olympics make numbers fun for students

Base Primary students, parents and volunteers take part in the school's Math Olympics last week.

Teachers at the Base Primary School brought together the love of mathematics and the recent Winter Olympic games during a recent series of competitions.

During the school's Math Olympics, teachers posed problems for their students to solve each day.

Those with correct answers received points that earned their respective classes chances to move up in the "medal count," according to Judy Blanchard, a representative from the elementary school at Mountain Home Air Force Base.
