Talkin' Tigers qualify seven for state debate

The Mountain Home High School Talkin' Tigers qualified seven students for the state debate tournament to be held March 12-13 at Vallivue High School in Caldwell.

Seniors Raif Armstrong and Chasity Custer went undefeated in Public Forum Debate at the District Tournament held Friday, Feb. 26, at Mountain Home High School, and will advance to state.

Teammates Erika Sabol and Jessica Bott were also undefeated and will compete in State competition in Public Forum.

  • BTW- This article does not mention it, but CHELSEA WEGRZYNIAK was the top qualifier in Lincoln-Douglas and myself and Linzi Dudding qualified in Policy.

    Why didn't we get to see all of the qualifiers names in the online version? I know there's the obligatory "pick up a copy" line at the end of the article. But come on, two names were mentioned. Why not all seven?
