Four wrestlers heading to state

Four Mountain Home High School wrestlers are heading to Pocatello for the State Wrestling Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Idaho State University's Holt Arena.

They qualified at the District Wrestling Tournament at Bishop Kelly High School last week.

The four Tigers heading to state are:

- Tim Hazelbaker, who finished second at 171 pounds.

- Devonte McClain, who finished third in the 119-pound weight class. He goes into state seeded sixth in his weight class.

- Austin Clark, who finished fifth in the 135-pound weight class.

- Jeff Checketts, who was fifth at 215 pounds.

Columbia won the district meet, finishing with 390.5 points. Nampa was second with 324.5, Kuna third with 212, Emmett fourth with 162, Bishop Kelly fifth with 159.5, Skyview sixth, with120, Middleton seventh with 111.5 and Mountain Home eighth with 111.
