Trinity needs to retain Dr. Baldridge on its staff

Friday, February 5, 2010

Dear editor:

I've heard that one of the most beloved and respected Medical Doctors in Elmore County, is soon to be looking for work somewhere else because his contract with Trinity Mountain Medical Clinic is not being renewed.

Is this true?

Dr. Baldridge is a personable and competent physician who treats his patients like people rather than commodities.

How can we afford to let an asset like him go?

What's going on here?

One day I hear he's been appointed chief of staff of the Elmore Medical Center and the next day he's being told we don't want him to stay?

I'm pretty short on facts, skeptical of rumor, but long on passion.

Dr. Baldridge is one of a handful of reasons I stay in Mountain Home rather than move somewhere else that has a reputation for quality service. If there's any way to keep him close to home, we need to make that happen; or at least give his patients a forwarding address so we can research the real estate listings.
