Ada and Elmore County authorities are looking for a man, believed to be elderly, who allegedly kidnapped a 24-year-old man at gunpoint on Highway 21 in Ada County Friday afternoon around 3:15 p.m., then drove him to King Hill, where he tied the victim up with duct tape, took pictures of him, and then drove away.

The victim later freed himself and made his way to a home in King Hill, where he contacted authorities. The exact details are still being investigated and no names have been released.

The alleged kidnapper is described as six feet tall with short, silver hair and a short two- or three-day old silver beard. He was last seen wearing a mesh ball cap with white on the front, a brown waist-length polyester jacket and faded blue jeans.

Anyone who has any information that may assist authorities is asked to call the Elmore County Sheriff's Office at 587-2100.

Old with white hair and facial hair. That fits half of the people I know. You could probably find ten people like that in the Sunset any day after high noon.
