'Tweens' event scheduled

4-H "tweens" and military "tweens," youth between the ages of 8 and 12, are invited to attend a 4-H/MilitaryTween Day at the Mountain Home Air Force Base Youth Center on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Activities will include laser tag, bowling, X-Box dance pads, jump roping and other "team building challenges."

Lunch will be provided.

The free event is provided by a 4-H/Military Grant. The deadline to sign up is Feb. 2.
