City offers help to seniors, disabled to rake leaves and shovel snow

Thursday, November 19, 2009

The City of Mountain Home would like to assist its citizens with leaf raking and snow shoveling this fall and winter.

Any person who is a senior citizen or disabled and needs help with their property is being encouraged to call the City's Code Enforcement Officer, Kelly Janis, at 580-2091.

"We would ask that the property owner provide the lawn and leaf bags, and garbage bags if needed," Janis said. "These services will be free of charge. Please remember that all of these groups are volunteering their time and effort to help other citizens."

Person who would like to volunteer to help should call Janis at the number listed above.
