Incumbents Isaac and Urquidi are sole candidates in city vote

Saturday, October 24, 2009

Incumbent representatives Alain Isaac and Richard Urquidi remain uncontested as both seek to run for a third term on the Mountain Home City Council.

The current four-year term for both representatives ends in January with the city council's two remaining seats and the mayor's seat up for election in 2011.

The filing deadline for those seeking to run for the two seats ended Sept. 4 and Oct. 20 was the deadline to submit a write-in candidacy for either city council seat.

Polls for the 2009 city election open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Mountain Home Public Library.
