Arlene Futch, joined by her father Tom, was named the 2009 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the homecoming game.

Arlene Futch was named the 2009 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the MHHS homecoming game, a 27-23 defeat for the Mountain Home Tigers by the Nampa Bulldogs.

Futch, standing on stage with her father, Tom, was overwhelmed while accepting her crown, her sash, a bouquet of roses and congratulatory hugs from her fellow queen nominees.

"Everybody deserved to win, all these girls are amazing, and it feels really great to be the Homecoming Queen this year," said Futch following the ceremony.
