Sunday, October 18, 2009
Students and advisers who helped create the special mural were honored by the Legion last week.

Members of American Legion Post 26 formally applauded the efforts of Mountain Home High School students responsible for creating a new mural adorning the front of the city's War Memorial Hall.

During a ceremony Oct. 9, American Legion Post 26 Commander Jim Suprise presented certificates of appreciation to more than a dozen current and former members of the school's Artopia club as well as local artists involved in the project.
