Wine and cheese tasting event planned

If you ever wanted to learn more about wine and cheese pairing, the Elmore Medical Center Foundation Wine and Music event is the place to be.

Cold Spring Winery from Hammett and Carmela Vineyards from Glenns Ferry will be providing tastes of wine that has been paired with cheeses donated by Marathon Cheese.

The fundraising event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 2-5 p.m. at Elmore Medical Center in the gazebo on the west lawn.

In case of bad weather the event will be moved indoors to the lobby of Trinity Mountain Medical Clinic.

Tickets are $20 each and include a souvenir wine glass, six tastes of wine and heavy hors doeuvres.
