Mountain Home High School's annual Homecoming Week is now underway. It began Monday and is set to conclude this Friday, Oct.16.

Students began preparation for the week by painting windows of local businesses over the weekend, the artwork all focused on Friday's homecoming game between the Tigers and the Nampa Bulldogs.

Homecoming Week will conclude on Friday.

Festivities that day begin with the Homecoming Assembly at 12:40 p.m., where the Homecoming King will be announced during a unique ceremony between the nominees.

The assembly will conclude at 2 p.m., immediately followed by the annual parade starting at 2:10 p.m. The parade will pass by Hacker Middle School on Jackson Street, proceed through downtown and then head back up American Legion Boulevard.

The assembly and parade are the prelude to the grand finale, the Homecoming game between the Mountain Home Tigers and the Nampa Bulldogs starting at 7 p.m., with the Homecoming Queen ceremony featured at halftime.

Prior to the game, the student body will be sponsoring a tailgate party at Tiger Field from 5-6:30 p.m.

After the game, the junior high school gym will be the site of the Homecoming Dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
