Man wanted on Montana felony charges arrested in Glenns Ferry

Thursday, October 8, 2009

A Montana man who failed to show up for sentencing on felony theft convictions was apprehended following a traffic stop near Glenns Ferry Wednesday.

Authorities in Musselshell County, Montana, have been looking for Bryon Kancilia, 48, since Aug. 27 when he failed to show up for sentencing in district court. Kancilia was to be sentenced for five counts of felony theft after a jury convicted him of the charges in May.

Two felony arrest warrants were issued for him after he failed to appear in court. A new charge of felony bail jumping was also filed.

He was arrested without incident.
