'Harvest for Hope' event tickets on sale

The Elmore County Domestic Violence Council (ECDVC) is now selling tickets for its "Harvest for Hope" benefit.

The annual fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the American Legion Hall, 515 E. 2nd South St. The cost is $25 per person.

    Ok maybe someone can explain to me why the WECRD keeps donating baskets to the ECDVC but refuses to donate money to any youth sports. Don't beleive me, go read thier minutes at www.wecrdgov.org. I think the ECDVC is great organization and have no problems with them. I do have a problem with a taxing recreation district that refuses to support recreation and yet has no problems making a donation using my tax money to this.
