The Mountain Home Lady Tigers bounced back from a loss to Skyview earlier in the week to beat Columbia.

Skyview 3, Mountain Home 0

Mountain Home was unable to get much offense going against Skyview Monday night when the visiting Lady Hawks blanked the Lady Tigers 3-0 at Eastside Park in Mountain Home.

Mountain Home had just six shots on goal for the game. Alicen Wendall had 13 saves on goal for Mountain Home.

"The girls put in a 100 percent effort tonight," said Mountain Home girls soccer coach Dan Snelgrow. "We got some opportunities to get some shots, but were unable to convert. We're going to one of these better teams in our league. The effort is there now, we just need to get to moving the ball around a little bit better, but the effort was definitely there tonight.

"Alicen played outstanding in goal -- she was very aggressive. All of our sophomores and juniors got playing time. They played very well, so I'm looking forward to things as we go ahead,"
