Bird says thanks for AFAD

To the citizens of Mountain Home:

I would like to offer a huge "Gunfighter thank you" for the wonderful celebration and show of support for our Airmen on Air Force Appreciation Day.

There was plenty of fun to be had by all between the corn shucking, fun run and parade to create a fantastic and memorable weekend.

I simply can't thank you enough for all the tireless work and effort you devote to supporting our Airmen each and every day.

The collaborative partnership between the community and base has far exceeded my expectations. There is power in our partnership, and it will continue to pay off well into the future.

Please accept my personal gratitude and heartfelt appreciation from all the Gunfighters at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

Continuing this great tradition, I look forward to celebrating with you all again next year.
