Hospital to go smoke free beginning Sept. 9

Monday, September 7, 2009

Elmore Medical Center will become a tobacco-free facility on Sept. 9.

From that day on the use of any form of tobacco products will be prohibited on any of the hospital and clinic properties.

Tobacco-free zone signage, like those used at both St. Luke's and St. Al's and other tobacco-free facilities in the area, will be liberally installed to inform patients and visitors.
