A Hermiston, Ore., woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover on I-84 east of Mountain Home near milepost 107 just after 8 a.m. Aug. 13.

Ashley Sheirbon was traveling east on the interstate when her 1992 Oldsmobile veered off the road.

Sheirbon was ejected from the four-door car as it rolled twice into the median before coming to rest on its roof, according to Idaho State Police Trooper Jason Bailey, who responded to the accident. The accident remains under investigation, and troopers were unable to immediately determine if she was wearing a seatbelt prior to the accident.

A LifeFlight helicopter launched from Mountain Home took Sheirbon to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where she remains in critical condition.

Emergency responders closed the highway's left eastbound lane for about one hour they responded to the crash and cleared debris on the highway.
