Three Island Crossing

This tradition is coming to an end, and sad to see another great tradition end, due to liability, and lack of participation. Unfortunately, lack of participation was evident, with only one wagon crossing. As for liability, so much care is taken to insure the participants, that I do not feel liability should ever be an issue.

I believe the turn out was great for this years crossing, and most of the people I spoke with were so nice. I saw people helping one another, sharing memories of other crossings, talking and making friends.

It looked as though it was going to rain just as the crossing started, but the clouds held back, and we had nice cool temps.

With all of the stresses of today, I couldn't help feeling that truly, THOSE WERE THE GOOD OL' DAYS.
