Youth track and field clinic set

A Tiger Track and Field Summer Clinic will be held July 7-9 from 9 a.m. to noon at Tiger Field for youths entering grades 6-9 this fall.

The camp will teach the fundamentals of track and field, from warm-ups to drills to sprints, hurdle and running techniques, and well as all field events except for pole vault.

The clinic will be led by the Mountain Home School track and field coaching staff and members of the high school team.

The cost is $15 for pre-registration and $20 if registered after June 30. The fee includes a clinic T-shirt and camp awards. For more information and to register contact Coach Richard Urquidi at Mountain Home High School.
