MHHS plans first alumni baseball game

Mountain Home High School alumni will be playing in the first annual MHHS Alumni Baseball Game Saturday evening at Eastside Park.

The event begins with a barbeque at the baseball fields at 5 p.m. Saturday, with a whiffle ball game for the kids on the varsity field and a home run derby on the JV field.

At 7:15 p.m. will be special ceremonies honoring those who have contributed to the building of the new concession stands and announcer's and scorers booth.

The Alumni Game, which will pit alumni graduating in odd years against those that graduated in even years, is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Cost to get into the game is $5, while $10 will get you into the game as well as the barbeque dinner. Families can eat and attend the game for $30.

Proceeds from the game will go to upgrading the baseball facilities.
