Rodeo finals

Cory Hurley, Kia Vines and Billy Graham

With the 2008-2009 District 2 High School Rodeo season coming to a close, three Mountain Home High School graduates have qualified for the state rodeo finals in Pocatello starting Monday, June 15, and concluding on Saturday, June 20.

Cory Hurley placed second in reserve champion bull riding. Billy Graham placed third in bull riding and saddle bronc riding. Kia Vines placed fifth in cow cutting, to qualify for the finals

    You should take up your exception to how Ms. Vines name is spelled with the MHN. Look and actually read the article and OM spelled it exactly how it is in the article.

    Congrads to all three of these young people. They have worked hard to excell in an area they love and should be applauded for their dedication. My hat is off to you three.

  • I am well aware as to how it is spelled in the article. My comment was not directed to Ms. Lauric. I just wanted to set the record straight...the MHN often gets things wrong. WB and Old Guy, I did not address the comment to Ms. Lauric or MHN, I just said how it was spelt wrong, it the article and in her comment. No need to try and correct me. I felt it was important to correct it on here because Ms. Vines always gets really excited when she recieves recognition in rodeo.
