Girls fastpitch softball team wins End of Season tourney

The U12 Sting Black team shows off their medals.

The Elmore County Girls Fastpitch Softball Team, U12 Sting Black, won the End of Season Tournaments held in Kuna, June 4-6.

It was the first time Mountain Home has won this tournament. Throughout the tournament playoffs, the U12 Sting Black team finished 6-1. The U12 Sting Black Team finished its regular season 12-0.

Madi Karst pitched a no hitter in the championship game. Morgan Vivier, Ashton Herrigan and Ksyenya Peterson also helped pitch the team to the tournament championship.

The U12 Sting Team is composed of: Madi Karst, Morgan Vivier, Ksyenya Peterson, Kristin Hillman, Shelby Aguirre, Angie Shockey, Madison Kean, Breanna Tindall, Peyton Lettkeman, Darrin Young, and Ashton Herrigan. Coaches are Ali Hillman-Liebegott, Brei Draper-Riley, and Jennifer Karst.
