ESA members earn top spots, honors at convention

Nine members of the Alpha Omicron chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha attended the 62nd annual Idaho State Council Convention in Idaho Falls this past weekend.

While there Alpha Omicron member Jamie Nye was installed as the 2009-2010 Idaho State Council President.

They also received the first-place award for philanthropic works and were awarded the Outstanding Chapter of the Year.

Chapter member Rowena Hawley was named the Outstanding Woman of the Year.

Alpha Omicron supports many community activities as well as the Elmore County Long Term Care Unit, the Senior Center, Cedar Crest, Camp Rainbow Gold, Camp Hodia, Easter Seals and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They are best known in Mountain Home for their Home Tour in October and the Christmas Bazaar at North Elementary in December.
