New service of News will aid groups needing help

Local groups and agencies are facing difficult times and relying more and more on volunteers to help.

If you are an Elmore County organization in need of volunteers please contact the Mountain Home News to be included in a column we will be developing outlining volunteer opportunities in the area.

Information should include: The name of your organization; the name of a contact person and their phone number; a brief description of the type of job for which the volunteer is being sought, and the hours the volunteer would be needed; any criteria the volunteer must meet, such as age, education or other criteria.

The information also can be e-mailed (use just e-mail text, not attached documents) to: keveritt@mountainhomenews.com and use a "Volunteer" title identifying the e-mail.
