Rimrock graduates twenty-two

Rimrock High School held commencement on May 17, sending twenty-two young men and women out to face a challenging and exciting future.

This year's Valedictorian was Lee Gray, daughter of Dale and Tammy Gray. Sierra Ridley, daughter of Buster and Ramona Ridley was the Salutatorian.

Antonio Ayala and Lee Gray were this year's recipients of the Citizenship Award sponsored by the Bruneau American Legion.

Honor graduates were: Lee Gray, Cy Lootens, Sam Richardson and Sierra Ridley; National Honor Society graduates were Alex Meyers and Megan McLing.

Class officers for 2009 were: Cy Lootens, President; Kaile Murray, Vice President, and Megan McLing, Secretary.

The class chose the rose as its flower, and silver and red as its colors. The Class of 2009 chose the motto, "Destiny is no matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited, it is a thing to be achieved".
