Public pool opens June 6

Several Mountain Home children jump into the public pool.

The Mountain Home public swimming pool will open Saturday, June 6.

Main pool and wading pool hours are Monday through Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Admissions is 50 cents for seniors citizens and children under six, $1 for adults and children six and up.

Individual season passes (ages 6 and up) are $45, and $22.50 for children five years and younger. There is a $5 parent/guardian pass available with purchase of the $45 season pass for youths.

The Adult Circle Lap Swim is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and Monday through Thursday from 5:15-7 p.m.

From 1:30-2 p.m. Monday through Thursday, the deep end of pool is reserved for lap swimming. Cost is a $1 per session.

Other pool activities include, swimming lessons, pool parties, senior hydro aerobics, theme pool parties, parent tot, hydro aerobics beginner and advanced and fitness swimming.

The swimming pool is located in Richard Aguirre Park.
