She was born May 21, 1923, in Uttlau Germany, to the late Josef and Theres Enthofer. She was the youngest child with numerous brothers and sisters. She attended grade school and graduated from high school. On June 30, 1954, she was united in marriage to Virlon J. Queen in Trier Italy.
Virlon and Maria returned to the U. S. and lived in Greeneville, South Carolina before settling in Mtn Home in 1960. They enjoyed life in Mtn Home and greatly appreciated their friends and neighbors. The surrounding mountains and deserts provided the ideal recreational environment for their family. Maria was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
Maria is survived by her sons Harry, Alan and Brian, her grandchildren Angela, Roxanne, Alexandra, Amanda, Elizabeth, Andrew, Cryssie and Jessie, and her great grandson Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters and her husband Virlon.
