Astronomy group to meet May 16

The newly formed Mountain Home Stargazers amateur astronomy group will meet May 16 at Legacy Park.

Activities will begin roughly at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.)

The group had originally planned to meet May 23 but changed the date so as not to interfere with other Memorial Day weekend activities.

The Mountain Home Stargazers also now has its own Yahoo group, for those who would like to check it out.

The organization is designed primarily for those new to the hobby of amateur astronomy, but experienced stargazers are encouraged to join in order to help offer their expertise to those just starting.
