The Lady Tigers scored five runs in the fourth inning to put the game out of reach Tuesday at Nampa.

She helped her cause with a hit and two RBIs. Arlene Futch had four hits including two doubles and scored three runs. Jennica Quintal, Kelsie Hopkins and Blas Lord all had two hits, Quintal had a double and two RBIs, Hopkins had a home run, and Lord had two doubles. Kuna 3

The Lady Tigers pushed across an unearned run in the seventh to down Kuna 4-3 last Thursday at Kuna.

Mountain Home scored one run in the first and two in the second to go up 3-0, but Kuna came back with three in the bottom of the second to tie the game at 3-3.

The pitchers took control after that, as Ashleigh Arizana set the Lady Tigers down, and Nickayla Skinner did the same to Kuna.

Madison Siefferman reached safely to start the Lady Tiger seventh, and moved to second on Jennica Quintal's ground-out, then came home on Arlene Futch's infield hit.

Nickayla Skinner set Kuna down in order in the bottom of the seventh as the Lady Tigers won, 4-3, for their 10th straight conference win.

"I wasn't overly impressed with our bats or our defense," said Coach Asbury. "Nick (Skinner) wasn't at 100 percent -- but I was impressed with the heart in the seventh inning to get it done. I was very proud of them for coming through and showing some heart. It was ugly -- I'm not overly impressed with our performance at times, but we definitely stepped up in high-pressure situations, so I'm very proud of that."

Arlene Futch had three of the seven hits the Lady Tigers got off Ashleigh Arizana. Nickayla Skinner had an RBI single, Lindsey Sessions had a double and Mandy Siefferman also had a hit.

Nickayla Skinner struck out 10 and gave up six hits as she improved to 13-1 overall.

The Lady Tigers hosted Columbia on Tuesday, and travel to Skyview on Thursday in conference games this week.
