Hospital officially takes over ambulance service

At 8:02 a.m. Monday morning, the new Elmore Ambulance Service (EAS) was officially paged out by Elmore County Dispatch, marking the beginning of a county ambulance service being paid for by the county and run by Elmore Medical Center.

"EAS now in service," the on-call ambulance crew responded to dispatch.

A few seconds later Northwest Paramedics Associates, which has had the service for six years, reported to dispatch: "We copy that page. NPA signing off."

  • The ambulance here needs to learn how to use there sirens during an emergancy. The reason i say this is because a couple of days ago an ambulance was behind me and i did not know it until i looked in my mirror. that is dangerous.
