Hale, Posey earn top honors for SIC hoop play

Awards and letters were handed out at last Wednesday's Lady Tigers Basketball awards banquet.

Francesca Hale earned the Offensive Player of the Year award.

Coach Brent Keener also announced Hale was tabbed the Player of the year among the Southern Idaho Conference 4A schools.

Shelby Posey earned the Defensive Player of the Year award and made Second Team All-SIC.

Dakota Barrie received the Most Inspirational Player award and received Honorable Mention All-SIC.

Blas Lord earned the Utility Player (Most Versatile Player) award.

Lady Tiger JV coach Stehvn Tesar handed out awards to the JV players.

Arlene Futch earned the Defensive Player of the Year award. Jessica Liercke was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Year award. Most Inspirational Player award went to Jennica Quintal, and Trista Stepp received the Utility Award.

Lady Tiger Sophomore coach Jessica Reynolds handed out awards to her sophomore players. Kelly Robins earned the Defensive Player award, JaDene Palmer received the Most Improved Player award and Jaclyn Lasuen earned the Most Inspirational Player award.
