Letter to the Editor

Cut would leave her homeless

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

Dear editor:

Gov. Butch Otter has instructed the budget writers to reduce personnel budgets by 5 percent. This will more than likely reduce payroll of state employees up to 5 percent.

State employees are not over paid as some people believe, to include Butch Otter it seems.

I know that my creditors will not take 5 percent less each month of the money I owe them. So why should state employees?

But if state employees complain it goes nowhere because they have them cornered.

Is Otter going to let my family move in with him when I get kicked out of my house because I can't pay my bills?

I think he has assured his place as a one-term govern.
