Kathryne Welter

Kathryne S. Welter, 89, of Mountain Home, passed away on March 4, 2009, at a local care center. Graveside Services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lincoln, Neb. Arrangements by Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel and Metcalf Funeral Home in Lincoln, Neb.

Kathryne was born on Feb. 3, 1920, in Remsen, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anna Marie Schiltz. Kathryne is survived by: her daughter, Sandra, and her husband, Gene Lee of Mountain Home, her son, Norbert, and his wife, Dixie Welter, and her daughter, Susan and her husband, Alfred Beeck, all of Lincoln, Neb., her sisters Alviria Singer of Oregon and Lorriane Mohan of California, 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Norbert, one son, two brothers, one sister and two grandsons.
