The Tigers will wrestle in the District III 4A Wrestling Tournament at Kuna this Thursday and Friday.

Tiger wrestling coach Lynn Knudson was pleased with how his team did at the seeding meeting, where 13 Tiger wrestlers were seeded in the top six.

"I think we had some kids that got really good seeds in the spots where I think we needed them, and I think it will help them get on through the district tournament on into state, so I really feel good about it. We had eight or nine kids that should be going to state, and hopefully we can get even a couple more besides that, and I think these guys will be geared up for that."

Mountain Home had one number one seed (Kaeo Doronio at 130 pounds), two number two seeds (Cory Pinque at 112 and Tommy Miller at 135), three number three seeds (Cody Staebler at 145, Tim Hazelbaker at 160 and Michael Heinen at 171), three number four seeds (Joe Gutierrez at 112 pounds, Ryan Goldsby at 135, and Joe Russell at 152), one number five seed (James Bailey at 285) and three number six seeds (DeVonte McClain at 119, Erwin Ruiz at 125, and Stefan White at 130.
