Grant helps Oasis Fire Department's growth

Thursday, January 22, 2009

The Oasis Volunteer Fire Department has received a $2,000 grant from the Southwestern Region Greatest Need Fund of the Idaho Community Foundation, a grant that will be used to begin purchase of a new firehouse for the department.

The grant will serve as the district's first step in raising $89,750, the amount of money needed to build the new facility.
