Rimrock set record for PSAT effort

Wednesday, December 17, 2008

High school students at Rimrock Jr./Sr. High School are taking some important steps toward planning their future after high school.

Twenty-six Rimrock students recently took the PSAT at Mountain Home High School, which is a significant increase over last year's participation. The PSAT, the Pre Scholastic Aptitude Test, is an important preparatory assessment for the common college entrance exams, the SAT and ACT. In addition, 33 junior and senior students attended the college fair in Boise and spoke with college representatives from throughout the country. Rimrock has also hosted several college and armed service representatives at the school this past fall.

The Rimrock High school staff recognized those dedicated students by providing them with their favorite food -- pizza, provided by Smoky Mountain Pizza in Mountain Home.
